After completing his MBBS, joined the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital (Tirunelveli, TN) for DNB in ophthalmology. Had a wide spread interest in all the branches of eye surgery with special inclination towards paediatric eye disorders and retinal pathologies. After completing PG , was granted two year surgical fellowship in vitreo retinal disorders at Aravind Eye Hospital (Coimbatore, TN). During that time had deep interest towards paediatric retinal disorders esp Retinopathy of Prematurity. Had done multiple regular ROP screening visits to NICUs, and had the fortunate opportunity to manage such cases under the guidance of Dr V Narendra and Dr Parag Shah.
He has done clinical observer ship at the well renowned William Beaumont Hospital, Detroit , Michigan USA under the famous Dr Micheal Trese (one if pioneer in the field of ROP)
