Aim is Intact survival, normal growth.

NICU graduates are followed up regularly for proper growth/development and evaluated for early diagnosis and treatment of various disorders.
Depending on their maturity, their degree of sickness and their progress in the N.I.C.U., all babies are categorized into 3 groups: mild, moderate and severe. Their follow-up is based on the severity of their risk factors. All babies in the moderate and high-risk group are followed up 4 times a year for the first year (i.e. at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months), twice in the second year and once each year till they are 5 years old.
